Michael Keaton says he might be ready to don the Batsuit again \u2014 even if it\u2019s a couple of sizes bigger now.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou return something and say, \u2018What is this?\u2019 \u201d the 69-year-old actor joked to Deadline<\/a> about picking up the superhero costume at a dry cleaner. \u201c \u2018How come you gave me The Hulk\u2019s outfit?\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

Keaton has been rumored to be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne\/Batman in the upcoming film \u201cThe Flash,\u201d starring Ezra Miller as the title hero. He first played the Caped Crusader in 1989\u2019s \u201cBatman\u201d and 1992\u2019s \u201cBatman Returns.\u201d And, while the actor vaguely confirmed the latest casting talks, he did not go so far as to guarantee he\u2019ll appear in the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith [the \u2018Batman\u2019 reprise], I\u2019m going to see what happens here,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is going to be kind of fun. We\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keaton added: \u201cTo tell you the truth, somewhere on my iPad is an iteration of the whole Flash thing that I haven\u2019t had time yet \u2026 I called them and said, \u2018I have to be honest with you. I can\u2019t look at anything right now. I\u2019m so deep into this thing I\u2019m doing.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not being cute or coy. If I talked about it, I\u2019ll be just bulls\u2013tting you.<\/p>\n

Keaton is currently doing press for the Oscar-nominated film in which he co-stars, \u201cThe Trial of the Chicago 7.\u201d<\/p>\n

The potential choice by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. is confusing, considering Ben Affleck, who currently plays Batman, will also appear in director Andy Muschietti\u2019s \u201cThe Flash\u201d movie. He shot new scenes for \u201cZack Snyder\u2019s Justice League,\u201d which dropped on HBO Max<\/a> this month.<\/p>\n

Adding to the jumble is the fact that yet another new film, \u201cThe Batman,\u201d starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, is set to hit theaters in March 2022. <\/p>\n

There were similar crossover whispers over at Marvel when it was reported that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire would join Tom Holland in \u201cSpider-Man 3.\u201d But Holland has denied that any previous Spideys<\/a> will get back in the Spandex with him.\n <\/div>\n
