What,\u201d performer Cailin Anne, 26, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cailinanne6\/status\/1374400799535632402\">captioned<\/a> a video she took Tuesday morning from Greenpoint\u2019s Transmitter Park, showing a trio of dolphins casually swimming alongside each other. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHello,\u201d the Upper West Side resident greeted the mammals in a second video, as they gently tread away from the park, toward the center of the East River. \u201cThey just wanted to see the view,\u201d she wrote over the clip.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The three aquatic creatures were still perusing the waterways Tuesday afternoon, according to another video showing their fins bobbing in and out of the East River\u2019s placid water.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTuesday afternoon East River dolphin content,\u201d wrote SLAM Chief Content Officer Adam Figman over a video of the dolphins that he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/adamfigman\/2535862968466714463\/\">posted<\/a> to his Instagram Story.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Figman, a Greenpoint resident, was prompted to spot the animals by a stranger who was unsure of their species. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was walking my dog on the pier and this guy was, like, \u2018Check that out \u2014 I can\u2019t figure out if they\u2019re dolphins or sharks.\u2019 He was very excited, though. He then decided probably dolphins,\u201d Figman told The Post. \u201cIt was cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The experience of spotting the dolphins was both surprising and heartwarming for Anne.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a combination of strange and inspiring,\u201d she told The Post. \u201cI lived in California for many years, so I\u2019m used to seeing dolphins, but definitely not used to seeing them with the NYC skyline in the background.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After so many months of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> distancing and isolation due to the coronavirus crisis, seeing them freely swimming about together felt to Anne like a good omen of post-pandemic times to come.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just thought it was such a beautiful and majestic sight to see, especially after spending so much of this past year indoors,\u201d she went on. \u201cIt felt very hopeful in a way \u2014 it\u2019s a beautiful spring day and dolphins are in the East River!
