(BTW: Page Six <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/11\/05\/boy-meets-world-alum-danielle-fishel-marries-jensen-karp\/\">covered their nuptials<\/a> way back in 2018.)<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s retrace the extra crunch Topanga\u2019s real-life hubby claims to have found in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUmmmm @CTCSquares \u2013 why are there shrimp tails in my cereal? Thanks!\u201d Cinnamon Toast Crunch\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CTCSquares\/status\/1374068165223780356\">wrote back<\/a>, to which Jensen\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374069746946109440\">responded<\/a>\u00a0that he\u2019s \u201cnot sure I\u2019m ready for another box!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Turns out Topanga wasn\u2019t feeling the brand\u2019s initial tweet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s honestly mad,\u201d Karp told The Post of Danielle\u2019s current feeling regarding the situation. \u201cShe is really disappointed in General Mills\u2019 statement and hoped to see more concern, rather than just tell me it was actually sugar, not shrimp tails (which is insane). People are allergic (I am luckily not) and their main focus should be finding out how it happened to help anyone who could also run into this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following \u201cfurther investigation,\u201d Cinnamon Toast Crunch\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CTCSquares\/status\/1374106716980326406\">informed<\/a>\u00a0Jensen that the image he posted showed not shrimp tails but \u201can accumulation of the cinnamon sugar that sometimes can occur when ingredients aren\u2019t thoroughly blended. We assure you that there\u2019s no possibility of cross contamination with shrimp.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2019Accumulation of sugar particles,\u2019\u201d Danielle\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/daniellefishel\/status\/1374116677391020035\">responded<\/a>, \u201cI am truly at a loss for words.\u201d\u00a0She also\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/daniellefishel\/status\/1374066150577893376\">tweeted<\/a>\u00a0emojis of shrimp and heartbreak.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"\/>After further investigation himself, however, Jensen\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374108037376483331\">alleged<\/a>\u00a0that there really were \u201ccinnamon coated shrimp tails\u201d in his cereal, of which he said he had\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374140040578621440\">already eaten<\/a>\u00a0a bowl. Since then he apparently\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374361289900716033\">has covered<\/a>\u00a0the cereal box with Post-It notes, which warn, \u201cDO NOT EAT.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore I had the shrimp tail plop in the bowl \u2013 I had eaten a bowl. This is a bummer,\u201d Karp told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wasn\u2019t all that mad until you now tried to gaslight me?\u201d he accused the brand.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say that when he further explored the cereal bag, he supposedly found\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374132475375493122\">string<\/a>, as well as cereal squares containing\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374132481759219714\">black marks<\/a>. Any consumers who notice their cereal box or bag has been tampered with, such as the clear tape that was found in this case, should contact us.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the most recent update to the saga Tuesday afternoon, Jensen\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JensenKarp\/status\/1374423940311916551\">shared<\/a>\u00a0an apparent direct message conversation with Cinnamon Toast Crunch in which the brand reportedly said they \u201creached out\u201d by phone and left a voicemail and also wanted to \u201csetup\u201d a FedEx pick-up of the items. In his reply, he said he \u201cwon\u2019t be giving you the stuff,\u201d adding that their initial response \u201ccalling it sugar was super weird and the fact that you haven\u2019t said anything to the contrary doesn\u2019t allow me to trust you with it at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jensen went on to say the company was \u201cbeing super sketchy and odd\u201d and said they should email him \u201cfor any further correspondence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also previously responded on Twitter to those who have accused him of faking the foreign object cereal items.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomething regarding the stupid \u2018Did he fake this\u2019 take: there are black items COOKED ONTO the squares and tons of it at the bottom of the bag, in addition to shrimp tails and other SUGAR COATED junk.
