Without (injured Nova point guard) Collin Gillespie, the Bears\u2019 full-court and half-court pressure defense sends Jay Wright home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARKANSAS over ORAL ROBERTS:<\/strong> Arkansas dominates the boards and slows down Max Abmus. No divine intervention for Oral Roberts \u2014 the church was closed for cleaning.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elite_8\"><\/span>Elite 8<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>BAYLOR over ARKANSAS:<\/strong> The Bears shoot 41 percent from Waco, and Butler takes over the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>. When I coached, I had shooters, but not enough makers, and that\u2019s why I\u2019m on Boot Hill. Elite guard Quentin Grimes has a big game against the 2-3 zone and the Cougars\u2019 No. 1 FG percentage defense frustrates Buddy Buckets Boeheim.<\/p>\n<p>I love Steve Pikiell, but Rutgers should have beaten Houston, they played not to lose down the stretch, in my opinion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LOYOLA CHICAGO over OREGON STATE:<\/strong> It\u2019s very difficult to defend Sister Jean. She\u2019ll finesse you with talking, she\u2019ll finesse you with smiles, she\u2019ll finesse you with prayers \u2014 she\u2019s a finesse nun.<\/p>\n<p>Loyola shoots over 50 percent from the field, and their offense is run through point center Cameron Krutwig. The Ramblers\u2019 Pack Line defense frustrates star guard Ethan Thompson.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elite_8-2\"><\/span>Elite 8<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>LOYOLA CHICAGO over HOUSTON:<\/strong> Krutwig puts on an offensive clinic inside and outside. He\u2019s a great passer, he\u2019s like an old-school guy that plays in the YMCA. He passes the ball like Tom Brady in his prime. He looks like a coach\u2019s son, he\u2019s so clever. Porter Moser has become an elite coach. The Ramblers knock down a bunch of 3s and the Cougars go cold from the perimeter.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sweet_16-3\"><\/span>Sweet 16<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>MICHIGAN over FLORIDA STATE:<\/strong> Michigan upholds the honor of the Big Ten. Maybe the other eight teams are out because they beat each other up so much, I don\u2019t know. Michigan has balanced scoring and Columbia point guard transfer Mike Smith is the glue guy who keeps the Wolverines together. The Seminoles have trouble scoring. Michigan coach Juwan Howard\u2019s done an outstanding job, but I\u2019d like to see him coach more and not bang on the referees quite as much.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALABAMA over UCLA:<\/strong> I\u2019m from the South \u2014 South Brooklyn, so I like southern teams. Herb Jones does it all and bounces back from a poor game versus Maryland. Johnny Juzang goes cold from the perimeter.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elite_8-3\"><\/span>Elite 8<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>ALABAMA over MICHIGAN:<\/strong> I saw Alabama up close and personal when the Tide played at Georgia, and no team in the country gets into the lane with dribble penetration like they do. Drew Timme has more moves in the post than a can of worms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OREGON over USC:<\/strong> A lot of variables clouded how good the Pac-12 is. Everybody was fooled. Senior guards Chris Duarte and St. John\u2019s transfer LJ Figueroa stay hot from downtown and drill USC\u2019s 2-3 zone. The Mobley Brothers are shut down.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elite_8-4\"><\/span>Elite 8<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>GONZAGA over OREGON:<\/strong> Suggs, Timme and Corey Kispert \u2014 he\u2019s a pro shooter \u2014 get Mark Few back to the Final Four.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Final_Four\"><\/span>Final Four<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>GONZAGA over ALABAMA:<\/strong> Timme controls the paint on both ends, and Jones gets in foul trouble.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BAYLOR over LOYOLA CHICAGO:<\/strong> Baylor\u2019s pressure defense gets Loyola out of sync. Teague is dynamite from downtown. The Bears wear Krutwig out a little bit. Sister Jean takes a nap and is late for the game, so she can\u2019t give a pregame talk. Nobody wakes her up.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Championship_Game\"><\/span>Championship Game<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>GONZAGA over BAYLOR:<\/strong> If I was coaching Gonzaga, I would tell them, \u201cThis is our moment, this is our time. This is gonna be a Gonzaga moment that you remember the rest of your lives, and you can tell your grandkids that they can do things they thought they couldn\u2019t do because they weren\u2019t good enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Zags are an offensive machine. Suggs stops deferring to his older teammates, and takes over the game. He\u2019s like Derrick Rose was for Memphis.
