Evan Peters has found his next killer project. <\/p>\n

Peters is set to play the title character in the upcoming Netflix show \u201cMonster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.\u201d The limited series was created by Ryan Murphy (\u201cHollywood\u201d) and his \u201cGlee\u201d collaborator Ian Brennan.<\/p>\n

Peters, 34, is one of Murphy\u2019s main muses and has acted in several of his projects, including \u201cPose\u201d and \u201cAmerican Horror Story.\u201d\u00a0Niecy Nash \u2014 the unforgettable star of another Murphy TV series, \u201cScream Queens\u201d \u2014 has been cast as Glenda Cleveland, Dahmer\u2019s neighbor who phoned the police<\/a> \u2014 who didn\u2019t believe her claims \u2014 about the serial killer\u2019s crazy behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cMonster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story\u201d will be told from the perspective of the infamous serial killer\u2019s victims. The plot will begin in the 1960s with Dahmer\u2019s early life and end with his arrest in 1991. According to\u00a0Deadline<\/a>, it will also focus on Dahmer\u2019s \u201cwhite privilege\u201d and examine 10 instances in which law enforcement gave him \u201ca free pass\u201d after he \u201cwas almost app<\/a>rehended but ultimately let go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Penelope Ann Miller will portray Dahmer\u2019s mother, Joyce, while two-time Oscar nominee Richard Jenkins (\u201cThe Shape of Water\u201d) will play Dahmer\u2019s father, Lionel. Shaun J. Brown will play one of Dahmer\u2019s victims who fought back and managed to escape, ultimately leading to the killer\u2019s arrest. Colin Ford is also set to play a character named Chazz.<\/p>\n

Dahmer murdered and dismembered 17 men and boys from 1978 until 1991. He was nicknamed the \u201cMilwaukee Cannibal\u201d and the \u201cMilwaukee Monster.\u201d\u00a0 Aside from murder, he also committed necrophilia and cannibalism on many of his victims. He later died in 1994 at age 34 after being beaten by another inmate, Christopher Scarver.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2002, a biopic starring Jeremy Renner, simply titled \u201cDahmer,\u201d hit the big screen. Dahmer\u2019s crimes were also depicted in 2017 when Disney Channel star Ross Lynch portrayed the murderer in\u00a0\u201cMy Friend Dahmer.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Dahmer series isn\u2019t the only project currently in the works by Murphy. He also recently announced the official title for Season 10 of \u201cAmerican Horror Story,\u201d his FX anthology series. \u201cThe title of American Horror Story 10 is Double Feature,\u201d he\u00a0wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cTwo horrifying stories \u2026 one season. One by the sea \u2026 One by the sand. More to come \u2026\u201d The \u201cNip\/Tuck\u201d producer also revealed that\u00a0Kaia Gerber will be joining<\/a>\u00a0the \u201cAHS\u201d cast, which includes Peters, Macaulay Culkin, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also in the works is Season 3 of his other FX anthology drama, \u201cAmerican Crime Story.\u201d The upcoming installment, entitled \u201cImpeachment: American Crime Story,\u201d will follow former President Bill Clinton and his infamous cheating scandal. \u201cThe Sopranos\u201d star Edie Falco\u00a0has been cast\u00a0as former First Lady Hillary Clinton, while Clive Owen will play Bill Clinton.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
