\nBrooklyn, NY \u2013 <\/span> The Brooklyn Nets plan to shutdown Women\u2019s History Month with an explosive performance from Lil Kim on March 29 when the Nets take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Barclays Center for their annual Women\u2019s Empowerment Game<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to a press release,\u00a0the Nets will highlight the accomplishments and contributions of female pioneers and history makers, along with honoring the women of BSE Global and Barclays Center by running the name of every female employee on the arena\u2019s scoreboard and exterior LEDs.<\/p>\n

A historical video tribute to the Brooklynettes dance team will be broadcast as well followed by the performance from Lil Kim who also designed the tops the group will wear during the routine. Prior to tipoff, the Director of Programming and Special Events for Barclays Center Lauren Winston-McPherson will perform the national anthem, while Production Manager for YES Network Dana McConnell will announce the Nets starting lineup.<\/p>\n
