The official YouTube<\/a> channel for singer\/voice actress Akane Kumada<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0has started streaming a full music video for her latest song “Brand new diary,”<\/strong> which will be featured as the OP theme for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime<\/em><\/span><\/a> franchise’s forthcoming spin-off TV anime<\/a>\u00a0The Slime Diaries<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a>. She has been voicing Eren in the franchise and will reprise her role in the spin-off as well.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kumada was the Grand Prix winner of the “ANISONG STARS”<\/strong> audition in 2017, which was held when she was 17. “Brand new diary,”<\/strong> will be included in her double A-side second single “Brand new diary \/ Mahou no Kaze (The Wind of Magic<\/em>)”<\/strong> to be released on April 21, 2021. The latter will be used as the OP theme for the spring 2021 TV anime Super Cub<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Prior to the CD release, both songs have been already available digitally<\/span><\/a> in Japan.<\/p>\n
