He is scheduled to play catch again Sunday and throw off a mound Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not sure it\u2019s set in stone either way,\u2019\u2019 Wilson said. \u201cI know they\u2019ve got a few things they want to see on their checklist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Wilson said he felt \u201cgreat\u201d after getting treatment on the shoulder, with the tightness coming in the back of the shoulder, near the rotator cuff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery time I finished a pitch [Monday], it wouldn\u2019t necessarily grab, but I had discomfort in there,\u2019\u2019 said Wilson, who summoned the training staff following the 20th pitch of Monday\u2019s outing. \u201cI didn\u2019t want to hurt something else trying to guard the shoulder. Chirinos, brought in for catching depth, has been out since fracturing his right wrist when he was hit by a pitch earlier this month. Dietrich was competing for a utility role. The Yankees liked his lefty bat, but Dietrich struggled at the plate.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if the moves ensured Tyler Wade was in line for a spot on the roster, though, Aaron Boone said: \u201cWe\u2019ll see. I wouldn\u2019t say, necessarily. There could be more things in play still. You never know.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>The Yankees also placed right-hander Clarke Schmidt on the 60-day injured list.
