{"id":213118,"date":"2021-03-27T15:23:32","date_gmt":"2021-03-27T12:23:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/chinas-deception-over-covid-origins-more-outrageous-every-day\/"},"modified":"2021-03-27T15:23:32","modified_gmt":"2021-03-27T12:23:32","slug":"chinas-deception-over-covid-origins-more-outrageous-every-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/chinas-deception-over-covid-origins-more-outrageous-every-day\/","title":{"rendered":"#China\u2019s deception over COVID origins more outrageous every day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#China\u2019s deception over COVID origins more outrageous every day<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The former leader of the State Department\u2019s task force investigating the origins of COVID-19 not only believes the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but also that it was the result of bioweapons research.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Wuhan Institute of Virology is not the National Institute of Health,\u201d says David Asher. \u201cIt was operating a secret, classified program. In my view, and I\u2019m just one person, my view is it was a biological weapons program.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is an explosive charge, given the millions of deaths that have resulted from the coronavirus, not to mention the trillions of dollars in economic damages that have resulted from the lockdowns.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But a growing body of evidence suggests that Asher may be on to something. Here are some key points:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>China does have a bioweapons program: Beijing joined the Biological Weapons Convention in 1984 but later \u2014 like almost every other international treaty it has signed \u2014 began violating it.Since 2007, Chinese government researchers have been <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hudson.org\/research\/16762-transcript-the-origins-of-covid-19-policy-implications-and-lessons-for-the-future\">writing publicly<\/a> about developing bioweapons using controversial \u201cgain of function\u201d research to make the viruses more lethal.\n<p>In fact, the former president of China\u2019s National Defense University <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/japan-forward.com\/biological-weapons-the-focus-of-chinas-military-research-in-the-last-20-years\/\">wrote<\/a> in his 2017 book \u201cWar\u2019s New High Ground\u201d that bio<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> will enable the development of \u2014 get this \u2014 \u201cgenetically engineered pathogens that target specific ethnicities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That same year, as Asher <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hudson.org\/research\/16762-transcript-the-origins-of-covid-19-policy-implications-and-lessons-for-the-future\">points out<\/a>, China\u2019s top state television commentator revealed that biowarfare, using viruses, was a new priority under Xi Jinping\u2019s national security policy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The Wuhan lab was engaged in such bioweapons research: The US State Department under Mike Pompeo <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210116020513\/https:\/www.state.gov\/ensuring-a-transparent-thorough-investigation-of-covid-19s-origin\/\">concluded<\/a> that the Wuhan Institute of Virology \u2014 China\u2019s most advanced lab \u2014 \u201chas engaged in classified research, including laboratory animal experiments, on behalf of the Chinese military since at least 2017.\u201d\u00a0The first \u201ccluster of cases,\u201d Asher <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hudson.org\/research\/16762-transcript-the-origins-of-covid-19-policy-implications-and-lessons-for-the-future\">reports<\/a>, occurred among lab personnel in the fall of 2019. And Major <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> Chen Wei herself, the head of the People\u2019s Liberation Army\u2019s bioweapons research program, rushed down to Wuhan to deal with it. Why? It\u2019s not unreasonable to think that it may have been one of Gen. Chen\u2019s pathogens that had escaped from the lab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>The novel coronavirus did not come from nature: Over the past year, Beijing has told one story after another about the origin of the coronavirus. We\u2019ve heard tales of bats and pangolins, caves and wet markets. The Chinese authorities have even <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-health-coronavirus-china-usa-idUSKBN20Z196\">blamed<\/a> the US military for bringing the virus to Wuhan. Many Western scientists initially went along with the explanations offered by Chinese colleagues with whom they had close professional ties.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of this spinning is intended to obscure the obvious: The China Virus has no analog in nature.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chinese whistleblower Dr. Yan Li-Meng, who fled China last April, was the first to point out that the virus\u2019 closest cousin is a bat coronavirus originally <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/record\/4028830%22%20%5Cl%20%22.YFumZq9Kg2y\">isolated<\/a> by the People\u2019s Liberation Army, but tinkered with to make it much more infectious. It turns out that the coronavirus burrows its way into human cells using a special tool called a \u201cfurin cleavage site.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A new scientific <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S2589004220308348\">report<\/a> shows that, of the 1,000 \u2014 one thousand! \u2014 coronaviruses in nature that most closely resemble the novel coronavirus that caused COVID-19, not a single one possesses a similar \u201cfurin cleavage site.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That suggests that this special tool is not a product of natural evolution, but was inserted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the Wuhan lab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even the former director of the Centers for Disease Control Robert Redfield said on Friday he believes the coronavirus leaked from the lab, stating that the disease\u2019s fast transmission doesn\u2019t make \u201cbiological sense.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Why is the laboratory origin of the coronavirus just now coming out? China has engaged in a massive coverup these past 15 months, and it has not been alone. Officials at the World Health Organization have consistently <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/world\/who-china-coronavirus-probe-reaction\">downplayed<\/a> the possibility that it came from the lab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A delegation of WHO scientists was finally allowed to visit Wuhan this past January, but they might as well have stayed home. As Jamie Metzl of the Washington-based think tank The Atlantic Council, later <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hudson.org\/research\/16762-transcript-the-origins-of-covid-19-policy-implications-and-lessons-for-the-future\">remarked<\/a>, \u201cNot only was it not a real investigation, it was more of a chaperoned two-week study tour where they were given highly curated information.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Those on this side of the Pacific who were funding the Wuhan lab, like EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak, were also eager to dismiss the lab-origin theory. Or, in China\u2019s case, locking down the lab, destroying evidence, and blaming innocent bats.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Such behavior should raise everyone\u2019s suspicions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of course, none of the above constitutes absolute, ironclad, irrefutable proof that the coronavirus was a bioweapon under development at the Wuhan lab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But it all certainly seems to point in that direction, doesn\u2019t it?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Steven W.
