After the broadcast of its final 12th episode in Japan last night, it was officially announced that a stage play adaptation<\/span><\/a> of the figure skating-theme<\/a>d original TV anime<\/a> Skate-Leading Stars<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> is set to be performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo in October 2021.<\/p>\n

The J.C. Staff<\/strong> (A Certain Magical Index<\/em><\/span><\/a>, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?<\/em><\/span><\/a>)-animated series<\/a> depicted high school boys who are competing in a fictional figure skating team competition called “Skate-Leading.”\u00a0Goro Taniuchi<\/strong> (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion<\/em><\/span><\/a>) serves as the general<\/a> director, and Yana Toboso<\/strong> (Black Butler<\/em> manga series) provided the original character designs.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The upcoming stage play will be written\/directed by Kazuhito Yoneyama<\/strong> (Space Battleship Tiramisu<\/em> stage play) at 4cu (Hetalia<\/em> musicals). 22-year-old Ryoki Nagae<\/strong>, best known for his portrayal as Italy in the Hetalia<\/em> musicals from 2015 to 2017 and Rampo Edogawa in the Bungo Stray Dogs<\/em> stage plays from 2017 to 2020, is cast as the protagonist Kensei Maeshima.<\/p>\n
