A spokesperson for the city said the project is in the planning stage.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Smart_city_project\"><\/span>Smart city project<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When street infrastructure needs to be replaced or installed, SMG will integrate it into the smart poles where possible to save costs and reduce clutter.<\/p>\n<p>Lee Won-Mok, Director <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> of Smart City Policy at Seoul Metropolitan Government, said: \u201cSmart poles help effectively consolidate the somewhat elaborate road facilities, not only retaining their innate functions but also highlighting various smart technological features.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese S-Poles are expected to improve urban landscapes and enhance the safety, welfare, and convenience for our Seoul citizens. The solution, which is already available in Australia, expands the functionality of traditional Bigbelly bins by incorporating small cell poles and antennas to enhance connectivity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWherever a public waste bin is <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ropriate, a\u00a0Telebelly\u00a0may be the solution\u00a0to hide small cells in plain sight,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p>Bigbelly says the Telebelly, which is 4G- and 5G-capable, could accelerate growth of the UK\u2019s small cell network and pave the way for 5G by making it easier for telecommunication companies to deploy a faster and more reliable service without relying on large-scale mast installations.<\/p>\n<p>Alex\u00a0Gamota,\u00a0Senior Vice President\u00a0at\u00a0Bigbelly, said: \u201cGiven how\u00a0Bigbelly\u00a0is typically utilised in densely populated areas where footfall is high, which is typically where increased\u00a0telecoms\u00a0coverage\u00a0and capacity\u00a0is required, there is a high degree of synergy between the\u00a0public\u00a0waste collection aspect of the system and\u00a0Telebelly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a separate project with Bigbelly,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cities-today.com\/dublins-smart-bins-find-new-purpose-during-the-pandemic\/\">smart bins in Dublin are also being used<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>to measure busyness in the city and to house small cell infrastructure.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do EVs excite your electrons?
