McMahon<\/a>. Private jobs here were down 12.2 percent (i.e., by about 1 million) from a year earlier, twice the nation\u2019s 6 percent falloff. Only Hawaii had a steeper job deficit, and among big states, \u201conly California (down 9.7 percent) even <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roached a double-digit drop.\u201d Notably, Gotham, off 15.3 percent, led the state\u2019s losses. By contrast, Texas and Florida saw lower-than-average declines, despite winter COVID-19 surges. Though Empire State employment \u201cbegan to recover in May,\u201d since September, there has been \u201cvirtually no net improvement.\u201d Bottom line: New York \u201chas a lot riding on\u201d the resumption of normal activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From the right: Joe\u2019s Middle-Class Tax Hike<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>President Biden never meant it when he \u201cinsisted again and again he would only hike taxes on individuals earning over $400,000,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/editorials\/bidens-tax-hikes-are-coming-for-the-middle-class\">snark the editors of the Washington Examiner<\/a>, and now \u201che\u2019s just hoping the middle class and the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> won\u2019t notice the tax hikes if he hides them well enough.\u201d Biden always planned tax hikes for \u201ccertain middle-class families,\u201d but \u201che keeps adding new middle-class tax hikes to his agenda in order to pay for his boatloads of free money and a massive expansion of the federal government.\u201d The Tax Foundation estimates that his corporate-tax hike would \u201cslash 159,000 jobs\u201d and \u201charm the bottom quintile of workers.\u201d Biden refuses to admit \u201cthat he\u2019s taxing anyone but the rich,\u201d but \u201cif he wants to curb the inflationary impact of his pumping trillions into the economy,\u201d he knows he will \u201cneed to tap into the middle class.\u201d It\u2019s time he came clean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2024 watch: Biden Won\u2019t Run Again<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When President Biden was asked last week whether he would run for re-election, he could have deflected \u201cby saying he had more important things to worry about\u201d but instead \u201copted for a seemingly decisive and confident\u201d affirmative response,<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/opinion\/2021\/03\/29\/joe-biden-zero-chance-run-for-reelection-2024-column\/7036849002\/\"> reports Peter Funt at USA Today<\/a>. In fact, \u201cthere is no chance, zero, that Joe Biden will seek to become the nation\u2019s first octogenarian presidential candidate.\u201d Indeed, Biden\u2019s age \u201chas already created enormous pressure on Kamala Harris,\u201d and \u201cno vice president has entered office with so much speculation that she would be frontrunner for her party\u2019s presidential nomination in the next cycle.\u201d It would be better for his party, then, if he found \u201ca way to signal he\u2019s only serving one term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conservative: BLM\u2019s Radical Founders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Black Lives Matter movement was founded by \u201cthree self-described \u2018radical black organizers,\u2019 \u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/web-exclusives\/2021\/03\/the-founders-of-black-lives-matter\">Scott Walker observes at First Things<\/a>. Early organizer Opal Tometi, who first created BlackLivesMatter.com is, per her biography on the site, \u201ca student of liberation theology\u201d and a \u201ctransnational feminist.\u201d Alicia Garza, who first coined the phrase, is a dedicated Marxist-Leninist who sniffs at Bernie Sanders because he \u201coffers \u2018not socialism,\u2019 but only \u2018democratic capitalism.\u2019 \u201d Patrisse Cullors started the hashtag; the epigraph of her 2017 memoir is a quote from Black Liberation Army terrorist Assata Shakur, and the book praises the likes of the Black Panther Party and the Republic of New Afrika, \u201ca violent black separatist group.\u201d Liberal sympathizers, caveat emptor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture critic: The New Racist \u2018Anti-Racism\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Racism is the \u201ctoxic pathology\u201d of hating an entire group of people based on its race, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amgreatness.com\/2021\/03\/28\/is-racism-moral-now\/\">writes Victor David Hanson at American Greatness<\/a>. \u201cBut now there grows a strange new ahistorical \u2018antiracism\u2019 racism\u201d \u2014 one that blames \u201call of one\u2019s own unhappiness, indeed all of the cosmic injustice in the manmade and natural world . . . on a white racial collective.\u201d And it isn\u2019t just the ideology of an academic elite, but has turned into federal policy in the form of anti-white farm relief bills, among many other instances. \u201cThe new anti-racism racism, whatever its original intentions, unfortunately exhibits the historical telltale signs of its noxious genre: an a priori negative stereotyping of all whites.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2014 Compiled by The Post Editorial Board<\/em>\n            <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
