“#Wavves Return With New Song \u201cSinking Feeling\u201d: Watch the Video<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Wavves are back with the music video for a new single, \u201cSinking Feeling<\/a>.\u201d It\u2019s the first piece of new music from Nathan Williams\u2019 rock project since 2017\u2019s You\u2019re Welcome<\/em>, and the first new song since his return to the Fat Possum roster. (Fat Possum released Wavves\u2019 2009 debut album, as well as the band\u2019s breakout record King of the Beach<\/em>.) The new track was produced by TV on the Radio\u2019s Dave Sitek. Check out the new video, directed by Jesse Lirola<\/a>, below.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Sinking Feeling\u2019 is a song about a wave of depression that keeps coming back,\u201d Nathan Williams said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s that sinking feeling that drags you down and no matter what you do or where you go it follows you.”<\/p>\n

Last year, Wavves reissued King of the Beach<\/em> on vinyl. Plans to tour behind the 10th anniversary of the album were scrapp<\/a>ed due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n
