This season seems to be more about June coming to terms with the personal sacrifices she\u2019s made for the larger cause, and you can see evidence of that in the brand new trailer below.<br \/><span id=\"more-664684\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Handmaids_Tale_Season_4_Trailer\"><\/span>The Handmaid\u2019s Tale Season 4 Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rg_160Be71g\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rg_160Be71g<\/a><\/p>\n<p>More than any other drama <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>, <em>The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em> positioned itself as the most important \u201cresistance\u201d show during the Trump administration, and like it or not, this show\u2019s legacy will always be inextricably linked with what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened in this country during that time. I suppose one could try to separate it from that context and attempt to engage with the show on its own terms, but since art isn\u2019t created in a vacuum, that\u2019s probably a fool\u2019s errand. So it\u2019s essentially impossible not to read political allegories into the footage presented here. Even though Gilead is not as powerful as it once was, it can still do plenty of damage. When June says \u201cwe\u2019re the ones we\u2019ve been waiting for,\u201d it seems like that\u2019s addressing Democrats who were holding out hope for the Mueller investigation to save them, and trying to inspire them to get involved themselves instead of sitting back and waiting for a savior to fix everything. Term papers and dissertations will surely be written about all of the real-world connections here, so I won\u2019t belabor the point.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Here\u2019s the poster, which has Elisabeth Moss doing her best to strike a full-on Katniss Everdeen pose, complete with the red dress that burns away into flames:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-664692 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/The-Handmaids-Tale-season-4-poster-700x976.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"976\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a cool poster and the idea of that red uniform being burned off as June becomes more of a revolutionary works on a thematic level. But for me, the \u201clet us prey\u201d tagline is bordering on being a bit too cute for its own good, and if they\u2019ve already reached this point and it\u2019s only season 4, I shudder to think how far the marketing department might have to stretch if this show actually lasts into its tenth season like showrunner <strong>Bruce Miller<\/strong> has hinted in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Moss leads the ensemble, which also includes <strong>Joseph Fiennes<\/strong>, <strong>Yvonne Strahovski<\/strong>, <strong>Samira Wiley<\/strong>, <strong>Alexis Bledel<\/strong>, <strong>Ann Dowd<\/strong>, <strong>Max Minghella<\/strong>, <strong>Madeline Brewer<\/strong>, <strong>O-T Fagbenle<\/strong>, <strong>Amanda Brugel<\/strong>, <strong>Bradley Whitford<\/strong>, and <strong>Sam Jaeger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the official synopsis for the upcoming season:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->In\u00a0the upcoming fourth season of The Handmaid\u2019s Tale, June (Elisabeth Moss) strikes back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges.
