\nToronto, Canada \u2013 <\/span> There are fans and then there are stalkers \u2014 and unsurprisingly, Drake has both. According to the Toronto Sun,<\/em><\/a> a knife-wielding woman was arrested on Tuesday (March 30) after she allegedly struck a security guard with a metal pipe in an effort to get into Drake\u2019s Toronto mansion.<\/p>\n

Seven police cars and a Toronto EMS vehicle responded to the Bridle Path estate around 5:30 p.m., but the extent of the guard\u2019s injuries are currently unknown. Bystanders at the scene noticed police were securing evidence, including the metal pipe and knife. But the woman wasn\u2019t anywhere close to finding her intended target.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe perpetrator did not get anywhere near Drake,\u201d a source said. \u201cIn fact, the intruder did not make it past the front gate.\u201c<\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s unclear if the multi-platinum star was home at the time of the incident, police are treating the case as if he was. So far, they haven\u2019t released any information on the potential charges the woman is facing.<\/p>\n

Drake moved into the $50 million mansion in 2020. During an exclusive interview with\u00a0Architectural Digest\u00a0<\/em>last year, Drake fans were privy to a closer look at the expansive property.<\/p>\n

Conceptualized by\u00a0Canadian architectural and interior designer\u00a0Ferris Rafauli,\u00a0<\/a>the house boasts 50,000 square feet and numerous amenities, including an NBA regulation-size indoor basketball court crowned by a 21-square-foot pyramidal skylight, a\u00a0B\u00f6sendorfer concert grand piano designed by Rafauli and Takashi Murakami and a 3,200-square-foot master-bedroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years,\u201d he explained to\u00a0AD\u00a0<\/em>at the time. \u201cI wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong.\u201d<\/p>\n
