A 24-year-old man was gunned down while driving on a Bronx highway Tuesday night in a suspected road rage shooting, police and sources said.<\/p>\n

The victim was heading southbound on the Bruckner Expressway, when the driver of a blue sedan pulled up next to him and opened fire near exit 7a at about 10:20 p.m., a witness told a 911 dispatcher, according to police.<\/p>\n

The victim was struck in his head and chest, cops said.<\/p>\n

When police responded, they found the victim had crashed his car into the media<\/a>n in between exit 7b and 8, authorities said.<\/p>\n

There were no passengers in his vehicle. <\/p>\n

The man was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

The suspect fled southbound on the expressway. They were still on the loose early Wednesday morning, police said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
