\n Instagram has done it again. It has copied another popular TikTok feature called Duets and renamed it \u2018Remix.\u2019<\/p>\n

\nIf you don\u2019t know what Duets (or Remix) is,\u00a0 lets you make your own Reel right next to someone else\u2019s Reel. With this, you can react to a new viral dance trend or plan a collab with a friend that makes it look like a planned cinematic creation.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Now you can use the Remix feature in Reels to create your own reel next to one that already exists \ud83c\udfad<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re capturing your reaction, responding to friends or bringing your own magic to trends, Remix is another way to collab on Instagram \u2728 pic.twitter.com\/eU8x74Q3yf<\/a><\/p>\n

Using it is pretty simple: Tap on the three-dot menu on any existing Reel, select the \u201cRemix this Reel\u201d option, and start recording your own clip. These Remixed Reels will app<\/a>ear in the Reels Tab. Plus, you\u2019ll be able to see who Remixed your own Reels through the Activity tab.<\/p>\n

The feature is already rolling out to all Instagram apps, and it\u2019ll be enabled on all Reels posted through public accounts.<\/p>\n

The good thing about this feature import is that creators in countries like India, where TikTok is not available, will be able to create collaborative short videos easily.<\/p>\n

The Facebook<\/a>-owned social network isn\u2019t the only one copying TikTok though. Last week, TechCrunch reported that Snapchat is also working on a Duets-like feature<\/a> \u2014 also called Remix. It might have to rethink the name now.<\/p>\n

Instagram is trying to take on TikTok\u2019s popularity with new features and apps. Last month, it launched its 2MB Lite app in 170 countries, and said that support for Reels is coming soon.<\/p>\n
