\nAfter almost 20 years, RTLZwei is taking an old plan out of the drawer: launching its own anime channel on free TV.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the midst of Germany’s anime boom, then RTLZwei station boss Josef Andorfer promised in 2003 that he would soon launch his own anime station. As we should all know, the station never went live. The project was finally buried in the winter of 2004\/2005 with the launch of \u201cPokito\u201d as a children’s brand. As we have now learned from people close to RTLZwei, the old plans should now be taken out of the moth box again. You heard correctly: RTL two<\/strong> is planning to launch its own 24\/7 again Anime-Senders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As has now leaked, the new transmitter should RTLZwei-ANIME<\/strong> am October 01, 2021<\/strong> and thus on time for the new one Transmitter season 2021\/22<\/strong> to be launched. Negotiations are still in progress regarding the anime licenses, but a first batch of planned anime series<\/a> can already be announced today. So it should be next to a TV comeback of \u00abMonster Rancher\u00bb <\/strong>and \u00abNadia – The Power of the Magic Stone\u00bb<\/strong> finally the long-awaited new episodes of \u00abRanma 1\/2\u00bb<\/strong> give. There should also be repetitions of \u00abYu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s \u00bb<\/strong>, \u00abDragon Ball Z\u00bb<\/strong> and \u00abDr. Slump\u00bb<\/strong> give. Also interesting is the fact that RTLZwei anime plays all 64 episodes of \u00abDragon Ball GT\u00bb, <\/strong>some of them in German TV premiere,<\/strong> promises. In addition to a lot of nostalgia, it should of course also be new material<\/strong> from Japan, the Munich broadcaster will announce more about this at a later date.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, the station is supposed to be over Satellite, Cable, IPTV<\/strong> and also free on the net as a stream<\/strong> Tobe offered.
