The upcoming Slam Dunk<\/em> anime movie is currently looking for staff for its production, with the movie\u2019s website now having a recruitment page<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The roles that are being sought for the still-untitled movie include key animators, in-betweeners, CG modelers, CG animators, and compositors. The movie is also looking for staff for areas like photography<\/a>, directing assistance, animation production management, and CG production management.<\/span><\/p>\n

App<\/a>licants are required to have over five years of experience in the relevant field as well as Japanese residency and language proficiency. The application period ends on April 30.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Slam Dunk<\/span><\/em> movie was first announced in January, with the website revealing that Toei Animation was in charge of the animation production. It\u2019s currently unknown what the movie is about or when it is planned to be released.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Slam Dunk<\/em> manga by Inoue Takehiko was serialized from 1990 to 1996 in Weekly Shounen Jump and was collected into 31 tankoubon volumes. Takehiko drew an epilogue<\/a>\u00a0called\u00a0Slam Dunk 10 Days Later<\/em>\u00a0on school blackboards in 2005, with the epilogue being reprinted in 2009. The anime series<\/a>, directed by the late Nobutaka Nishizawa, ran from 1993 to 1996 with 101 episodes and had a different ending. There were also four anime films that were released from 1994 to 1995.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
