\n A massive sales week for Switch and Monster Hunter Rise. <\/p>\n

Famitsu<\/a> has published its estimated physical game<\/a> software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of March 22, 2021 to March 28, 2021. <\/span><\/p>\n

Monster Hunter Rise<\/em> for Switch was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 1,302,132 units sold.<\/p>\n

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold a massive 267,497 units thanks to the release of Monster Hunter Rise<\/em>, the PlayStation 5 family sold 62,295 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,189 units, and the Xbox Series<\/a> family sold 1,279 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.<\/p>\n
