The video, which was filmed prior to the couple&#8217;s breakup earlier this year, shows them struggling over an orange case \u2014 during the course of the fight, Saweetie is thrown to the ground and appears to limp when she eventually gets to her feet to leave the elevator. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Saweetie has addressed the incident in a statement sent to The FADER through a publicist. She writes that the incident happened over a year ago and that she and Quavo &#8220;reconciled&#8230; and moved past this particular disagreement&#8221; prior to their breakup in 2021. I kindly ask that everyone respect my privacy during this time.\u201d\n<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-221174\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>            The FADER has asked Quavo&#8217;s representative for a statement, and we will update this post if we receive one.<\/p>\n<p>            On Thursday, TMZ <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/04\/01\/lapd-investigating-quavo-and-saweetie-elevator-video\/\">reported<\/a> that the Los Angeles Police Department had opened a case into the incident and are interested in speaking with Quavo and Saweetie.
