Source: Tradingview<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"BTC_price_taps_60000\"><\/span>BTC price taps $60,000<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Cointelegraph Markets Pro and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/BTCUSD\/\">TradingView<\/a> showed bullish tendencies remaining overnight for BTC\/USD, with local highs of $60,110 on Bitstamp.<\/p>\n<p>A correction brought the pair down nearer to $59,000, circling $59,500 at the time of writing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sustained higher levels mean that Bitcoin has effectively canceled out the flash crash from earlier this week, while still continuing to trade in a defined corridor.<\/p>\n<p>For popular trader Crypto Ed, the outlook was for $60,000 to dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear as resistance based on fading selling pressure on exchanges. Higher than $70,000, however, may have to wait longer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I mentioned BTC target $73k and ETH $2300,&#8221; he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Crypto_Ed_NL\/status\/1377872528618754048\">wrote<\/a> on Friday. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;From what I see now, ETH is on track. BTC not convinced yet it will reach that target in this cycle but I do think we&#8217;ll see a strong push above 60k (soonish).&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Others are more optimistic, with short-term estimates including $68,000 and $73,000 and 2021 targets exceeding $288,000.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-04\/9db955dc-7a1a-4d77-b5e2-ecb144884807.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USDT buy and sell levels (Binance) as of April 2. But it looks like BTC turned this exact same level into support a couple of days ago,&#8221; fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> trader Rekt Capital <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rektcapital\/status\/1377905391405826051\">added<\/a>. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Now it&#8217;s about follow-through from here. And we&#8217;re seeing some follow-through today.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ether_at_5000_%E2%80%9Cinevitable%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>Ether at $5,000 &#8220;inevitable&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Crypto Ed touching on Ether (ETH) comes as the largest altcoin by market cap touched $2,000 for the first time since Feb. 20.<\/p>\n<p>After dipping in line with Bitcoin price action, ETH\/USD returned to form over the past week, seeing almost constant higher highs on daily timeframes to near its historic record of roughly $2,040.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-04\/3fe7ed76-1e3f-4b07-8818-db0a033e1399.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>ETH\/USD 1-hour candle chart (Bitstamp).
