\u201cAbsolutely,\u201d Hunter Biden tells CBS \u201cSunday Morning,\u201d after a reporter finally<\/em> asks him what the media<\/a> avoided asking him \u2014 and his father \u2014 during the 2020 campaign: Is the laptop yours?<\/p>\n

But, being a Biden, he can\u2019t help but prevaricate. \u201cCertainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oh, Hunter, you\u2019re so full of it.<\/p>\n

The troubled son knows that he left the laptop at a Delaware repair shop and then forgot about it. How could he forget about something like that? Well, he admits that he\u2019s relapsed on drugs as recently as last year\u2019s presidential campaign.<\/p>\n

The Post interviewed the owner of the computer repair shop. We checked the dates and content of some of the emails against real-life events. We looked at the literally thousands of pictures of Hunter Biden on the hard drive. We did the reporting. It\u2019s his laptop.<\/p>\n

When we asked Hunter Biden and the Joe Biden campaign in 2020, they dodged the question and called it all a \u201cconspiracy theory\u201d and suggested vaguely he might have been hacked. The press, usually on guard for a non-denial denial, played along. The laptop was \u201cunverified.\u201d No one bothered to ask the campaign any follow-up questions, even though the laptop repairman backed up the story to other outlets. Twitter took its cue from the Democrats and blocked our account, a move Jack Dorsey now calls \u201ca total mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his memoir, Hunter Biden recalls his drug struggles and admirable efforts to get clean in startling detail. We\u2019re not buying that he doesn\u2019t remember dropping off the laptop. He\u2019d rather muddy the waters by saying it was \u201cstolen,\u201d or the go-to boogeyman for liberals for everything that doesn\u2019t go their way: \u201cRussian hacking!\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that he\u2019s finally conceded that, yes, it\u2019s probably his, perhaps reporters will start asking the other<\/em> questions they didn\u2019t ask in the fall of 2020:<\/p>\n

* Did you plan on going into business with your father on a massive Chinese investment fund? For how long was Joe involved?<\/p>\n

* Is Tony Bobulinski lying when he says he met with Joe Biden about this endeavor, and the current president said \u201clook after my family\u201d?<\/p>\n

* An email says the split on that endeavor was\u00a0 \u201c20 H,\u201d \u201c10 Jim,\u201d and \u201c10 held by H for the big guy.\u201d Is Joe Biden the big guy?<\/p>\n

* Why did the Chinese oligarch behind that fund give you a diamond? How long did he pay you for? What did you do for him?<\/p>\n

* In your emails, an official from the Ukrainian gas company Burisma thanks you for meeting your father. Joe Biden\u2019s campaign said no official meeting ever took place. Was there an informal meeting? How much did you discuss with your dad what you were doing?<\/p>\n

There are many more. Hunter and Joe won\u2019t answer us, we\u2019ve tried. They\u2019d rather just shout \u201csmear campaign\u201d and \u201chack.\u201d How long is the media going to buy it?\n <\/p><\/div>\n
