Most <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s make it pretty easy to turn on 2FA, and eBay is no exception. Here\u2019s how to enable it and make yourself safer.<\/p>\n<p>You can set up 2FA in either the eBay mobile app for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/cg\/app\/ebay-marketplace-buy-sell\/id282614216\">iPhone<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.ebay.mobile&amp;hl=en_US&amp;gl=US\">Android<\/a> or on the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ebay.com\/\">eBay desktop website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One difference with eBay\u2019s 2FA is that if you set it up in the mobile app, you have to use the eBay app for verification when you sign in to the website. If you want to set up SMS verification, you\u2019ll need to set up 2FA on eBay\u2019s website rather than on the mobile app.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not unknown for services to use app-based logins within their own app, but it\u2019s unusual that there\u2019s no option to use an authenticator app like Authy (our preferred authenticator app), Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator.
