If you\u2019re a bot developer yourself, you may want to enable Discord\u2019s developer mode first.<\/p>\n<p>Developer mode enables certain additional information in the Discord client, such as channel and message IDs for your server. If you\u2019re developing a bot to monitor and post in a certain channel, for instance, you\u2019ll need this information to point the bot in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p>This information is just one of the many pieces of data you\u2019ll need to make your own Discord bot for your server.
