There\u2019s a good chance your deleted note is still available in a OneNote backup. Here, we\u2019ll show you how to recover your notes in OneNote for Windows, Mac, and the web.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Restore_Deleted_Notes_in_OneNote_on_Windows\"><\/span>Restore Deleted Notes in OneNote on Windows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>OneNote has two versions for Windows: OneNote (formerly called OneNote 2016) and OneNote for Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p>The steps to recover deleted notes aren\u2019t the same for both versions, so you\u2019ll need to find out what version of OneNote you\u2019re using first.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, open the \u201cStart\u201d menu and search for \u201cOneNote.\u201d Notice the name of the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> that you usually click to access your notes. Compare that name with the names listed above to find out your version of OneNote.<\/p>\n<p>Then, depending on the version you use, follow the steps in one of the sections below to recover your deleted notes in OneNote.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Get_Back_Deleted_Notes_in_OneNote_formerly_OneNote_2016\"><\/span>Get Back Deleted Notes in OneNote (formerly OneNote 2016)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>OneNote automatically creates backups of your notes by default. It syncs your notes to your OneDrive account and lets you recover your notes from within the app.<\/p>\n<p>Head over to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.onenote.com\/\">OneNote on the web<\/a> and log in to your account to start notes recovery.
