{"id":218689,"date":"2021-04-04T08:28:11","date_gmt":"2021-04-04T05:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/man-who-attacked-us-capitol-may-have-suffered-head-trauma\/"},"modified":"2021-04-04T08:28:11","modified_gmt":"2021-04-04T05:28:11","slug":"man-who-attacked-us-capitol-may-have-suffered-head-trauma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/man-who-attacked-us-capitol-may-have-suffered-head-trauma\/","title":{"rendered":"#Man who attacked US capitol may have suffered head trauma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Man who attacked US capitol may have suffered head trauma<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/04\/Noah_Green.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The deranged driver who fatally rammed a police officer before being gunned down outside the US Capitol on Friday may have suffered repeated head trauma during years of playing football, his family said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Noah Green, 25, was \u201cnot a terrorist by any means,\u201d the family <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/public-safety\/capitol-police-attack-officer-william-evans-killed\/2021\/04\/03\/2bfbe65c-9482-11eb-9668-89be11273c09_story.html\">told the Washington Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Green had been studying for his master\u2019s degree in business administration \u2014 but also suffered from \u201cdepression and potential mental illness,\u201d the family said.<\/p>\n<p>His troubles may have stemmed from head trauma that accumulated over his years playing football, including as a defensive back at Christopher Newport University in Virginia, they said.<\/p>\n<p>Green had a history of troubling behavior, and was quickly unraveling the night before the attack, his brother Brendan said.<\/p>\n<p>Noah Green\u2019s brother Brendan said his brother was very ill the night before the attack and sent him an ominous text Thursday, according to The Washington Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018I\u2019m sorry but I\u2019m just going to go and live and be homeless,\u2019\u201d Brendan said his brother told him in an ominous text sent the day before Friday\u2019s tragedy,<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/public-safety\/noah-green-capitol-attack\/2021\/04\/02\/74f75802-93fe-11eb-a74e-1f4cf89fd948_story.html\"> according to the Washington Post.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for everything that you\u2019ve done,\u201d the text continued. \u201cI looked up to you when I was a kid. You inspired me a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A day later, Noah crashed his car into two officers at a Capitol barricade before charging at them with a knife.<\/p>\n<p>Veteran officer William Evans died following the attack. The other officer is being treated at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Green had seven sisters and two brothers, and was a standout defensive back on the Christopher Newport University football team before paranoia and devotion to the Nation of Islam left family and friends concerned about his mental health in recent years, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>paper reported.<\/p>\n<p>Noah Green blamed former teammates for drugging him with Xanax in 2019, which one teammate said did not h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en, the article stated.<\/p>\n<p>Green reportedly claimed the supposed incident turned him into a drug addict who was in withdrawal.<\/p>\n<p>He moved into a Newport News apartment and continued to suffer hallucinations, heart palpitations, headaches and suicidal thoughts, his brother told the newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>One day Noah deserted the Virginia pad and moved to Indianapolis, telling his brother drugs inspired him to live there, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Brendan flew to his new apartment to investigate Noah\u2019s claims that people were breaking in, the article said.<\/p>\n<p>The concerned brother told the paper the home seemed secure but Noah\u2019s \u201cmind didn\u2019t seem right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several months ago, Noah moved to Botswana and told his brother \u201chis mind was telling him to basically commit suicide,\u201d the report said. He later jumped in front of a car and needed surgery, Brendan told The Washington Post.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, a distraught Noah reportedly called his brother and asked if he could move in with him.<\/p>\n<p>Noah said he was \u201cin a really bad situation and in really bad shape,\u201d Brendan told the paper.<\/p>\n<p>After bunking up with Brendan, he made a troubling post on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> two weeks before the attack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. It required long hours, lots of studying, and exercise to keep me balanced while experiencing an array of concerning symptoms along the path (I believe to be side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly),\u201d he wrote on March 17, signing the message Brother Noah X.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the path has been thwarted, as Allah (God) has chosen me for other things. Throughout life I have set goals, attained them, set higher ones, and then been required to sacrifice those things,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>A former teammate of Noah\u2019s told the newspaper he was a solid athlete, but the team grew concerned about him after the drugging accusations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was really paranoid from that point moving forward,\u201d Andre Toran reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>Another teammate said he showed no signs of being troubled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was a stand-up guy,\u201d Damian Jiggetts told the paper.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was on the dean\u2019s list. He was a motivator.
