The dark, shocking, and hilarious series<\/a>\u00a0Dead to Me<\/em><\/strong> will return for a third and final season. The\u00a0Christina App<\/a>legate<\/strong> and Linda Cardellini<\/strong> series from creator\u00a0Liz Feldman<\/strong> will end its run just as Netflix signs a\u00a0multi-year partnership with Feldman to creature future Netflix originals series to come. Dead to Me\u00a0<\/em>season 1 debuted in May 2019, while season 2 arrived in May of this year.<\/p>\n

One of the best original shows on Netflix is coming to an end.\u00a0Dead to Me<\/em>, a series that blends shocking twists with uber-dark comedy and emotionally devastating drama, will return for a third and final season. Netflix announced\u00a0Dead to Me<\/em> season 3 along with a new deal with series creator Liz Feldman.\u00a0Jane Wiseman, Netflix Vice President, Comedy Series, said: \u201cLiz Feldman is a comedic force who brings her fresh and distinct point of view to every element of the creative process from inception through writing and producing.\u00a0 We could not be more excited to expand our relationship with Liz and continue to work with her on Dead to Me<\/em> and future series to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Feldman added: \u201cFrom start to finish, Dead To Me<\/em> is exactly the show I wanted to make. And it\u2019s been an incredible gift. Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human. While I\u2019ll be sad to see the series go, I am happy that Feldman is able to end things properly \u2013 especially since season 2 concluded with a bit of a cliffhanger, just like season 1. Starring\u00a0Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, and James Marsden,\u00a0Dead to Me<\/em> follows the unlikely friendship that blossoms between
<\/br>
\nJen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini). The two women met each other in season 1 at a grief counseling group, with Jen attending following the sudden death of her husband. As season 1 unfolded, it became clear that the two women shared a surprising connection.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s all I\u2019ll say, because part of the power of this show is how surprising it is. Nearly every episode ends with a big twist that keeps you wanting to come back for more, so if you\u2019ve yet to check this series out yet, I\u2019d advise you to get on that ASAP. And avoid spoilers.<\/p>\n
