Jennifer Lopez graces the cover of InStyle magazine <\/a>and the story features glowing quotes from her exes \u2014 but her on-again fianc\u00e9 Alex Rodriguez is noticeably missing.<\/p>\n

J.Lo\u2019s ex-husband Marc Anthony and former fianc\u00e9 Ben Affleck were quoted in a new profile piece titled, \u201cJennifer Lopez In Her Own Words (and Everyone Else\u2019s).\u201d <\/p>\n

But there are no quotes from A-Rod, nor any sign of her giant $1.8 million diamond engagement ring from the former Yankees slugger.<\/p>\n

A media<\/a> insider told us of the absence of Rodriguez in the InStyle piece, \u201cThis InStyle cover story was meant to help promote Jennifer\u2019s movie \u2018Marry Me.\u2019 But the movie release date was pushed back to February 22 because of Covid.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis story was done months ago, so it seems to indicate that Jennifer and Alex have been having problems for months.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow else would her ex-husband and ex-fianc\u00e9 be included, but not her current fianc\u00e9?\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez is also pictured numerous times in the InStyle piece wearing an array of diamond rings from Tiffany & Co., but not her enormous emerald cut diamond engagement ring from Rodriguez. <\/p>\n

However, a source close to the couple said of A-Rod being omitted from the feature because of issues in their relationship, \u201cThis is absolutely not true, and reading into this when there is little knowledge of the background is misleading.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source said the piece had been in the works for a while, and that J.Lo\u2019s camp wanted to focus on older stories from her decades-long career and things that people did not already know about her.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anthony, to whom Lopez was married from 2004 to 2014, is quoted as saying, \u201cShe\u2019s the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I\u2019ve ever met.\u201d<\/p>\n

And Affleck, who was engaged to Lopez from 2002 to 2004 after they met on the set of \u201cGigli\u201d in 2001, said, \u201cI thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out \u2026 She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I\u2019m so happ<\/a>y for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit that she deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Affleck added, \u201cWhere are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I\u2019m in my 40s \u2026 at best?\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six exclusively reported\u00a0in March that the power couple had broken up and\u00a0called off their two-year engagement.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0a source later told us\u00a0that they were trying to reconcile and have been \u201cputting the work in\u201d to mend their relationship. <\/p>\n

Since the brief split, Rodriguez, 45, has\u00a0flown to the Dominican Republic a number of times, where Lopez, 51, is filming \u201cShotgun Wedding\u201d alongside\u00a0Lenny Kravitz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other A-listers to gush over Lopez in the profile include Michelle Obama, Charlize Theron and Donatella Versace. <\/p>\n
