\nThe Earth Wind & Fire and Isley Brothers Verzuz took place on Easter Sunday (April 4) and found thousands of people tuning in for the \u201960s and \u201970s-flavored event.<\/p>\n

With comedia<\/a>n Steve Harvey serving as host and DJ D-Nice as the ever-smiling maestro, the nearly two-hour face-off found Earth Wind & Fire performing hits such as \u201cThat\u2019s The Way Of The World\u201d and \u201cSeptember\u201d and The Isley Brothers playing \u201cHello It\u2019s Me\u201d and \u201cLove The One You\u2019re With.\u201d<\/p>\n

But prior to the event, lead singer and founding member of The Isley Brothers, Ron Isley, met up with Dr. Dre and hung out in the studio, although it\u2019s unclear if any music actually materialized from the studio meet-up.<\/p>\n

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer posted a series<\/a> of photos with Dre to his Instagram account on Saturday (April 3) with the caption,\u00a0\u201cToday with Dr. Dre!\u201d<\/p>\n
