{"id":220115,"date":"2021-04-06T15:30:56","date_gmt":"2021-04-06T12:30:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/senate-parliamentarian-sides-with-dems-on-filibuster-workaround\/"},"modified":"2021-04-06T15:30:56","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T12:30:56","slug":"senate-parliamentarian-sides-with-dems-on-filibuster-workaround","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/senate-parliamentarian-sides-with-dems-on-filibuster-workaround\/","title":{"rendered":"#Senate parliamentarian sides with Dems on filibuster workaround"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Senate parliamentarian sides with Dems on filibuster workaround<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Senate parliamentarian has ruled that Democrats can use budget reconciliation on two more pieces of legislation this fiscal year, a spokesman for Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said.<\/p>\n<p>The move, revealed by a Schumer (D-NY) rep Monday, likely clears the way for President Biden\u2019s two mammoth infrastructure bills to pass the upper house of Congress without GOP support.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the top-ranking Senate Democrat\u2019s office said that \u201cno decisions have been made on a legislative path forward using Section 304,\u201d while calling the parliamentarian\u2019s ruling \u201can important step forward that this key pathway is available to Democrats if needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aides to Schumer argued to the parliamentarian last month that they could use Section 304 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 to pass another bill through budget reconciliation, the method by which Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Everybody knows our physical infrastructure is collapsing.
