“#Listen to Rostam\u2019s New Song \u201cChangephobia\u201d<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Rostam has shared a new song called \u201cChangephobia<\/a>,\u201d the title track and latest single of his forthcoming album. Changephobia<\/em> is due out June 4 via his own label Matsor Projects. Check out the title track, featuring a baritone sax solo from Henry Solomon, below. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Ahead of \u201cChangephobia,\u201d Rostam shared the songs \u201c4Runner,\u201d \u201cThese Kids We Knew,\u201d and \u201cUnfold You.\u201d In a statement, Rostam said of writing the \u201cChangephobia\u201d:<\/p>\n

\u201cChangephobia\u201d was one of the last songs I finished writing for this album. The chorus came to me sitting at the piano in my living room; I spent weeks picking up and putting down ideas for the verses. One day I sat down with an acoustic guitar, feeling close to giving up on the song altogether: all of a sudden a new melody, a new feeling, and new words came out of me and I felt like I could be honest with myself about what I wanted to say. The song \u201cChangephobia\u201d is partly about something we can all be guilty of, avoiding our own feelings. I think of it as a reminder not to.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
