Well, in the new Tina Fey-produced Peacock comedy\u00a0<strong><em>Girls5eva<\/em><\/strong>, they\u2019re back and they\u2019re here to stay.\u00a0<em>Girls5eva<\/em> stars\u00a0<strong>Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ren\u00e9e Elise Goldsberry<\/strong> as members of a \u201990s girl group who decide to stage a comeback \u2014 when they\u2019re all in their 40s. Just as real-life boy bands and girl groups stage splashy reunions, so do the fictional girl groups \u2014 specifically, the one-hit wonder girl group Girls5eva. And what a girl group that would have been, with <em>Waitress<\/em>\u2018\u00a0Sara Bareilles,\u00a0<em>Hamilton<\/em>\u2018s Ren\u00e9e Elise Goldsberry, and\u00a0<em>Cougar Town<\/em>\u2018s Busy Philipps among its members. But while we didn\u2019t get that group in real life, they\u2019re getting ready to stage their comeback in fiction, in the Peacock Original comedy <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>\u00a0<em>Girls5eva<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Created by\u00a0<strong>Meredith Scardino<\/strong> and produced by Tina Fey,\u00a0<em>Girls5eva<\/em> follows a \u201990s girl group who reunite 20 years later to give pop stardom one more shot. But it\u2019s hard to balance spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and their own aging as they chase their music ambitions once again \u2014 this time without the problematic messages from their old music (the jailbait bit is very Tina Fey). And somehow, they can never get away from their creepy old manager. Still, it\u2019s never 2 l8 for music stardom.<\/p>\n<p>This looks pretty fun, and it\u2019s always great to see Bareilles and Goldsberry venturing out onto the screen after carving out such amazing careers on the stage and on the music charts. And we\u2019ll never say no to more Busy Philipps. Starring alongside Bareilles, Goldsberry, and Phillips is <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em> alum and comedy writer\u00a0Paula Pell.<\/p>\n<p>Scardino serves as creator and executive producer for the series, while Jeff Richmond, Tina Fey (Little Stranger, Inc.), Robert Carlock (Bevel Gears), David Miner (3 Arts Entertainment), Eric Gurian (Little Stranger) serve as executive producers.\u00a0<em>Girls5eva<\/em>\u00a0is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the synopsis for\u00a0<em>Girls5eva<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90\u2019s gets sampled by a young r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot.
