“#Joss Whedon accused of verbally abusing Gal Gadot<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Not even Wonder Woman was safe from the wrath. <\/p>\n

A bombshell story from The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> about Ray Fisher, who accused Joss Whedon of racist and \u201cabusive\u201d behavior on the set of 2017\u2019s \u201cJustice League,\u201d also revealed new claims about alleged abuse toward Gal Gadot.<\/p>\n

A source told THR that Gadot, who played Wonder Woman in the 2017 superhero flick, was among several actors who suffered alleged abuse at the hands of the director and \u201cBuffy\u201d creator.<\/p>\n

The friction reportedly started after the \u201cAlien Resurrection\u201d writer pressed 35-year-old Gadot to say lines she didn\u2019t feel comfortable with, according to the source. He also allegedly threatened to torpedo the actress\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

An on-set witness claimed to THR that after one particularly vicious dispute, \u201cJoss was bragging that he\u2019s had it out with Gal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe told her he\u2019s the writer and she\u2019s going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie,\u201d they alleged. <\/p>\n

The source also claimed to the publication that their heated tiff eventually resulted in a sit-down with then Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had my issues with [Whedon] and Warner Bros. handled it in a timely manner,\u201d Gadot said in a statement to THR about the spat. Whedon declined to comment to THR.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWW84\u201d star wasn\u2019t the only person allegedly mistreated by Whedon, either. A source claimed to THR that he even denigrated original \u201cWonder Woman\u201d director Patty Jenkins.<\/p>\n

Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in \u201cJustice League,\u201d has long been vocal about alleged abuse from Whedon. He told The Hollywood Reporter of an incident in which Whedon had pushed him about recording the line \u201cbooya,\u201d which he analogized to Gary Coleman\u2019s \u201cwhatchoo talkin\u2019 about Willis\u201d and other stereotypical black catchphrases.<\/p>\n

When he begrudgingly agreed, Whedon reportedly mocked him. <\/p>\n

Fisher had previously accused \u201cThe Avengers\u201d director of \u201cgross\u201d and \u201cunacceptable\u201d conduct during filming \u2014 a claim that was corroborated by his co-star Jason Momoa.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Whedon reportedly clashed with other \u201cJustice League\u201d actors ranging from Momoa to Jeremy Irons, THR reported.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time the filmmaker has been in the hot seat of late. Whedon is currently facing abuse allegations from several stars of his vampire series<\/a> \u201cBuffy,\u201d including Charisma Carpenter and Michelle Trachtenberg.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
