In a very last-minute change, the previously announced opening theme song for The World Ends with You the Animation<\/em><\/strong> TV anime\u00a0has been changed<\/span><\/a> due to the arrest of drummer\u00a0Kahadio<\/strong> from the band ALI<\/strong>. The production committee hasn’t revealed what the new song will be, with the first episode of the adaptation still scheduled to broadcast this Friday in Japan.<\/p>\n

ALI<\/strong> was set to the opening theme\u00a0“Teenage City Riot” for\u00a0The World Ends with You the Animation<\/em><\/strong>, but due to the arrest of\u00a0Kahadio<\/strong> on yet-to-be-revealed charges<\/strong>, Sony Music asked the production committee to change the theme song, of which they obliged. The production committee confirmed that this will not affect the broadcasting schedule for the series<\/a>. Any mention of ALI on the “Music” section of the official website<\/span><\/a> has been scrubbed, with just the mention of\u00a0ASCA’s<\/strong> “Carpe Diem” ending theme remaining.<\/p>\n
