{"id":222585,"date":"2021-04-09T04:32:01","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T01:32:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/jersey-shore-cop-arrested-for-sexually-abusing-juvenile\/"},"modified":"2021-04-09T04:32:01","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T01:32:01","slug":"jersey-shore-cop-arrested-for-sexually-abusing-juvenile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/jersey-shore-cop-arrested-for-sexually-abusing-juvenile\/","title":{"rendered":"#Jersey Shore cop arrested for sexually abusing juvenile"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Jersey Shore cop arrested for sexually abusing juvenile<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/04\/Tyrone-Rolls.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A Jersey Shore cop who once received a \u201ckey to Ocean City\u201d is charged with sexually assaulting a minor.<\/p>\n<p>Ocean City Sergeant Tyrone Rolls, 50, turned himself in at the Cape May Prosecutor\u2019s Office Wednesday, according to a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CMCProsecutorsOffice\/\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rolls was charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault of a domestic violence victim, official misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>If convicted on all charges, Rolls could be sentenced to 65 years in prison, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>Rolls was arrested after special victims unit investigators found he had a sexual relationship with a juvenile, the release stated.<\/p>\n<p>The sergeant suspect coached local boys and girls youth sports teams in the community and was given \u201ckey to the city\u201d from Mayor Jay Gillian in 2017, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.com\/crime\/2021\/04\/jersey-shore-cop-charged-with-sexually-assaulting-juvenile.html\">The Star Ledger reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rolls excelled at sports in his youth as well, winning multiple awards for track and football in high school and college, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>paper revealed.<\/p>\n<p id=\"J5PCOWHLUFC6TGI47EISGOPFZM\">\u201cTyrone Rolls has been a mentor and role model for children and families in the area through his role as a police officer, coach and well-respected lifelong member of this community,\u201d\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B0Os2aTH5zh\/?hl=en\">a plaque at Ocean City High School<\/a> reads.<\/p>\n<p>He is reportedly now behind bars and on administrative leave from the Ocean City Police Department.\n            <\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
