Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ing them with other jets for the flights. <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       The 737 Max jets were grounded world-wide for nearly two years starting in March 2019, following two deadly crashes less than five months apart. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Boeing<br \/>\n        BA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/208579720\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.46%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       was ordered to pay more than $2.5 billion to settle U.S. fraud charges over the problems with the jet family, one of the many financial and legal fallouts it has had to face in connection with the crashes, ultimately linked to a faulty antistall system. <\/p>\n<p><strong>See also:<\/strong> United, Alaska stocks get upgrade on \u2018clear path to reopening\u2019 for air <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> industry<\/p>\n<p>Boeing warned 16 customers, whom it did not disclose, about the issue, which is related to the plane\u2019s electrical power system. It said it was working \u201cclosely\u201d with U.S. aviation regulators to correct it. <\/p>\n<p>Analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu at Jefferies said in a note Friday that the issue seems to be \u201cwell understood\u201d and timing would depend on the availability of technicians and equipment. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cChanging the equipment could take hours or days to fix, a modest disruption,\u201d she said.
