\n DeSean Jackson is in hot water after posting anti-Semitic quotes to his Instagram account and then trying to defend his point.<\/p>\n

The Eagles wide receiver posted one quote attributed to Adolf Hitler and also endorsed a speech from Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam who \u201croutinely accuses Jews of manipulating the U.S. government and controlling the levers of world power,\u201d according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.<\/p>\n

Jackson showed a highlighted quote that said it was from Hitler, though its origins app<\/a>ear to be in doubt. The highlighted part included, \u201c\u2026 the Jews will blackmail America. [They] will extort America, their plan for world domination won\u2019t work if the Negroes know who they were.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson, 33, later tried to clarify his intent on Monday, re-posting a picture of the quote with his own caption.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone who feels I have hate towards the Jewish community took my post the wrong way,\u201d Jackson wrote. \u201cI have no hatred in my heart towards no one!! Equality equality.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Jackson has published other posts, one showing a picture of Farrakhan making a speech, with his own caption saying, \u201cThis man powerful[.] I hope everyone got a chance to watch this !! Don\u2019t be blinded. Know what\u2019s going on!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Farrakhan\u2019s speech talked about police brutality, racism and COVID-19, according to Crossing Broad, but the 87-year-old has compared Jewish people to \u201ctermites\u201d in the past.<\/p>\n

Former Eagles president Joe Banner was among those to condemn Jackson for his social media<\/a> posts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf a white player said anything about [African-Americans] as outrageous as what DeSean Jackson said about Jews tonight there would at least be a serious conversation about cutting him and a need for a team meeting to discuss,\u201d Banner, who is Jewish, tweeted Monday night. \u201cWhich would be totally appropriate. Absolutely indefensible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson also posted a clip of Melinda Gates saying the populations most vulnerable to COVID-19 \u2014 \u201cIn our country, that would be blacks and Native Americans,\u201d she said \u2014 should be among the first to get a potential vaccine.<\/p>\n

\u201cDisgusting ass ppl !!\u201d Jackson wrote. \u201cYou get the vaccination first.. dumb broad !!\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
