Jersey Shore may have wrapp<\/a>ed up for the season, but thanks to the power of social media<\/a>, fans can keep up with the latest from the cast of the MTV hit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, the cast felt the ire of fans on social media for not wearing face masks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It all started when Jenni “JWoww” Farley shared a snap on social media of a dinner date with her co-stars, as well as their loved ones.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event was at The Butcher’s Block in New Jersey to celebrate Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s birthday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The only person in the photo in question donning a mask was Vinny Guadagnino.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the continued threat of Covid-19, people are being urged to wear masks as much as possible, with them actually becoming mandatory in many states.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy birthday @mikethesituation,\u201d Farley captioned the picture.<\/p>\n

\u201c@Vinnyguadagnino the mask won\u2019t protect us with the s\u2013t u got jkjk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans were quick to hit out at the cast for not exercising caution by wearing masks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cVinny, the only one w respect for others,\u201d said one critic, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou would think some of u have kids at home u would protect them better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farley was quick to respond to the criticism, and she did not hold back.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have all been tested and don\u2019t see anyone who hasn\u2019t been regularly tested\u2026 it\u2019s also hard to eat and wear a mask,\u201d the reality star wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cGlad you know all about us and think we would ever put anyone in jeopardy\u2026 especially our kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dinner was a surprise for Sorrentino’s 38th birthday, and his wife, Lauren Pesce, Farley\u2019s boyfriend, Zack Carpinello, Nicole \u201cSnooki\u201d Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese and her husband, Chris Buckner were a part of the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you’re wondering whether the birthday will be featured on the recently announced Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4, don’t bet on it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For one, it would be difficult to film a TV show in a restaurant while other patrons are trying to socially distance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Two, Snooki recently announced she was quitting the franchise that made her a household name, and her final episode aired last month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While MTV is eyeing a 2021 return date, the series<\/a> probably won’t return to production for months yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
