That\u2019s exactly what\u2019s coming up on the April 13 episode, \u201cDoors Opening, Doors Closing,\u201d and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek. We even get to see Cain\u2019s softer side! His future, however, both as a surgeon and at Chastain, is in jeopardy.<\/p>\n

The doctor is still rehabbing from getting hit by an ambulance while helping out at the scene of a crash, but things are going much better, both conversation- and therapy-wise, than they were when he and Rose, who has sickle cell disease, met in the winter finale.<\/p>\n

\u201cLittle known fact: The smaller the weights, the harder to lift,\u201d Rose comments in the clip.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf that\u2019s the case, you\u2019re outperforming me by a lot,\u201d Cain replies.<\/p>\n

After she apologizes for being \u201crough\u201d on him the day before, Cain, in return, admits, \u201cI could\u2019ve been less rough.\u201d In Cain-speak, that\u2019s as good as a heartfelt apology!<\/p>\n

But things take a painful turn, as you\u2019ll see in the clip above.<\/p>\n

\u201cCain admires a lot of what Rose possesses \u2014 her attitude, the positivity, and her strength,\u201d Chestnut told TV Insider about the characters\u2019 interactions in the winter finale. \u201cCain wasn\u2019t trying to be mean, he just thought he was being honest. Most of the time when he\u2019s honest like that, people just take it. She fires back at him and he respects that.\u201d<\/p>\n
