Internet sensation JoJo Siwa shocked\u00a0fans when she confirmed speculation<\/a> that she\u2019s part of the LGBTQ community earlier this year. <\/p>\n

However, her\u00a0sexual orientation has only made the 17-year-old all the more famous. <\/p>\n

According to a new poll conducted by Insider<\/a>, Siwa\u2019s star quality has risen since she came out.
The news<\/a> site took a survey (issued through the web app<\/a>\u00a0SurveyMonkey Audience)\u00a0of more than 1,000 people to find out which influencers are the most famous, loved and hated. <\/p>\n

Insider\u2019s stats showed that the\u00a0\u201cDance Moms\u201d star is 9%\u00a0better known now than she was in a previous survey conducted in December 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the December poll, 27% of participants knew who the\u00a0pop star was. <\/p>\n

About one-third of people loved Siwa\u2019s persona, while a third also found her unfavorable.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Siwa recently said that she identifies as pansexual<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cI still don\u2019t know what I am,\u201d she told People<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s like, I want to figure it out. I like queer. Technically I would say that I am pansexual, because that\u2019s how I have always been my whole life . . . just like, my human is my human,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut like, I don\u2019t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say \u2018gay,\u2019 because it just kind of covers it, or \u2018queer,\u2019 because I think the keyword is cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Siwa first made headlines in January when she shared a picture of herself<\/a> on social media<\/a> wearing a shirt that read, \u201cBEST. GAY. COUSIN. EVER.\u201d She later sat down for a lengthy Instagram video to explain herself. <\/p>\n

\u201cI have gotten the most endless amount of love and support . . . I\u2019m really happy,\u201d she said in the video.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want people to know that there is so much love in the world, and it is so incredible, and it\u2019s so amazing, it\u2019s wonderful.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few days after her big reveal, the influencer introduced her new girlfriend, Kylie Prew to the world via Instagram. <\/p>\n

She tagged Prew, whom she met on a cruise ship, in her post and shared that she had \u201c[been] my best friend for over a year and January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
