Health experts say that while vaccinated people can still catch the bug, the likelihood of that h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening is far lower than in people who aren\u2019t inoculated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe vaccine does not necessarily prevent you from getting COVID. It prevents you from being hospitalized or dying from it,\u201d Dr. Kris Bungay, a Manhattan primary care physician, previously told The Post. \u201cThat is why we all still have to be careful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was not common in the clinical trials for patients to be symptomatic after getting vaccinated,\u201d Bungay added.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/different-vaccines\/Moderna.html#:~:text=Based%20on%20evidence%20from%20clinical,of%20being%20previously%20infected.\">Moderna\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/different-vaccines\/Pfizer-BioNTech.html\">Pfizer\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0two-dose vaccines are 94% and 95% effective, respectively, at preventing symptomatic coronavirus infections after two doses, according to the CDC.
