“#’Bachelor’ Colton Underwood Filming Netflix Reality Series<\/a> After Coming Out<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

There\u2019s another reality series on the horizon for former Bachelor<\/a><\/em>star Colton Underwood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, April 14, the Season 23 alum revealed to Good Morning America<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Robin Roberts that he is gay. \u201cI got to a place where I didn\u2019t think I\u2019d ever share [this and] I would have rather died than say I\u2019m gay,\u201d Underwood admitted. \u201cI\u2019m [now] like the happ<\/a>iest I\u2019ve ever been in my life, and that means the world to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Previously dubbed the \u201cVirgin Bachelor\u201d after competing on Becca Kufrin\u2019s Bachelorette<\/a><\/em>season in 2018, Underwood went on to date Bachelor <\/em>winner Cassie Randolph before their messy split in 2020. \u201cI obviously had an internal fight going on,\u201d Underwood explained on GMA.<\/em> \u201cWithout the Bachelor<\/em> franchise, I don\u2019t know if this would have ever come out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Underwood has another big change on the horizon: According to Variety<\/a>, <\/em>Underwood is currently filming an as-yet-untitled reality series for Netflix. The project is described as \u201cfocusing on Underwood living his life publicly as a gay man,\u201d per a Variety <\/em>source. Olympian Gus Kenworthy is rumored to appear in the series as a \u201cguide\u201d for Underwood, who also previously dated Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman for three years.<\/p>\n

Will Underwood\u2019s new show be a Bachelor<\/em>-esque spinoff? Netflix has yet to comment on the series, but it\u2019s clear Underwood is ready to put it all out there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
