\nThis is such sad news<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Patrick Perkins<\/strong> announced on Instagram<\/strong> that his brother, Vine<\/strong> star Adam Perkins<\/strong>, passed away on Sunday. He was 24 years old. Patrick did not reveal the cause of death in his tribute to his twin, who was perhaps best known for his hilarious and beloved comedy videos on the now-defunct video-sharing app<\/a>. He was also a model and musician.<\/p>\n

Patrick shared on IG:<\/p>\n

\u201cmy brother, Adam Perkins, passed away this previous Sunday, 4-11-21<\/p>\n

i can\u2019t even really put into words what this loss means for me. i\u2019m often asked the question, \u2018what\u2019s it like to be a twin?\u2019 and my response is usually, \u2018what\u2019s it like to NOT be a twin?\u2019<\/p>\n

being a twin is a very central part of my identity. it\u2019s all i\u2019ve known. and i\u2019m struggling to find the words to explain what it will be like for me to live in this world without him. my best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The post continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cin his honor, I will be releasing his album \u2018Latch Relay\u2019 on a limited edition vinyl. it will be the first release on Plas Teg Records ( @plas.teg ), a label that will seek to fulfill his musical destiny that was so tragically cut short.<\/p>\n
