“#Protesters chase CNN crew covering Daunte Wright unrest<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Protesters in Minnesota chased away a CNN crew while they were attempting to cover the fourth night of demonstrations over the police-killing of Daunte Wright, a report said.<\/p>\n

One member of the crew got pelted in the head with a water bottle, falling to the ground, outside the Brooklyn Center police station on Thursday night, according to the Washington Examiner<\/a>, who had a reporter on the ground.<\/p>\n

Some people in the crowd called for a medic for the crewmember, but he insisted \u201cit\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

The confrontation began when two women app<\/a>roached CNN reporter Miguel Marquez, demanding the crew cover a protest across the street instead of focusing on the large police presence guarding the precinct, the news<\/a>paper reported.<\/p>\n

Marquez tried to reason with the women, the report said, before other protesters joined in, with some eventually shouting for the CNN crew to leave, the report said. <\/p>\n

As the crew was driving away in their van, multiple people pelted the vehicle with eggs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat did they do?\u201d one person can be heard asking in the video<\/a>, as the egg yolk runs down the side of the reporter\u2019s minivan.<\/p>\n

\u201cCNN, being some b\u2014hes,\u201d another person responds.<\/p>\n

Marquez later sent out a tweet<\/a> addressing the encounter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy team and I are fine and I appreciate your concern. I hope for equal justice under the law and will continue to report on this vital story as it unfolds,\u201d he wrote.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
