That&#8217;s more than double its value Wednesday, when Dogecoin (pronounced &#8220;doh-j&#8221;) hit 13 cents.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;memecoin&#8221; was created in 2013 as a joke poking fun at the surge in digital coins such as bitcoin, says cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> site Coindesk.
