I think it was really important to talk about topics that never leave the conversation of women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Gotham<\/em> alum also told us that <em>Red Table Talk<\/em> sometimes gets so intimate that guests have dropped out and episodes have been scratched: \u201cThey go \u2018Mmm, I thought I was ready, but I\u2019m not.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With Season 4 episodes <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/redtabletalk\/\">hitting Facebook every Wednesday at noon ET<\/a>, we\u2019re revisiting memorable <em>Red Table Talk<\/em> discussions that, luckily for us, <em>weren\u2019t<\/em> tabled!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jada_and_Will_discuss_her_%E2%80%9Centanglement%E2%80%9D_with_August_Alsina\"><\/span>Jada and Will discuss her \u201centanglement\u201d with August Alsina<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fredtabletalk%2Fvideos%2F718425758995043%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jada <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/redtabletalk\/videos\/718425758995043\">devoted a 2020 episode<\/a> to her relationship with her husband\u2014and the couple discussed R&amp;B singer August Alsina\u2019s claim that he had gotten Will\u2019s \u201cblessing\u201d to have a relationship with her.<\/p>\n<p>On the show, Jada admitted she had started a relationship with Alsina during a separation from Will around four years prior.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was done with you,\u201d Will said, addressing his wife as he recalled that challenging chapter. \u201cWe decided that we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y and I\u2019ll figure out how to make myself happy.\u2026 I really felt like we could be over.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jada elaborated: \u201cI got into a different kind of entanglement with August.\u2026 It was a relationship, absolutely. I was in a lot of pain, and I was very broken. In the process of that relationship, I definitely realized that you can\u2019t find happiness outside of yourself. And luckily enough, you and I were also going through a process of healing in a much different matter. Banfield-Norris didn\u2019t mince her words with the influencer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI fought it tooth and nail,\u201d the nurse told Jada and Willow before the interview. \u201cI just found it really ironic that she chose three Black women to reach out to for her redemption story. I feel like here we are, [a] white woman coming to Black women for support when we don\u2019t get the same from them. It\u2019s bothersome to me on so many levels. Her being here is the epitome of white privilege to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And once Olivia joined the hosts at the table, Banfield-Norris told her, \u201cThere is so much violent dehumanization that the Black community has to go through on a daily basis, right? There is so much devastation, particularly this year, 2020, with the pandemic and everything being brought to the table.\u2026 There is so much inequality and inequity, that when you come to the table with something like this, it\u2019s like, \u2018Child, please.\u2019 \u2026 I\u2019m exhausted. During the 2019 interview, Woods said that she never gave Thompson a lap dance, that she kissed him with \u201cno tongue\u201d and \u201cno passion,\u201d and that sex with the Cleveland Cavaliers player was \u201cnever a consideration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The day the episode went live, though, Kardashian lashed out at Woods over Twitter. \u201cWhy are you lying @jordynwoods?\u201d she <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/khloekardashian\/status\/1101534599627198464\">tweeted<\/a>. \u201cIf you\u2019re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. Mother wasn\u2019t answering the phone. A fan of my fame was answering the phone,\u201d he said. \u201cI was trying to find my own balance with fame and stuff.
