A\u00a0restaurant\u00a0in Florida has added several new high-tech workers to its roster. After struggling with staffing issues, the seafood place decided to invest in robots to help deliver food to tables and perform other important tasks.<\/p>\n

Mr. Q Crab House in Hollywood, Fla., invested in three foodservice robots,\u00a0Fox 23<\/a>\u00a0reports. The electronic workers have been performing various tasks normally assigned to servers and other front-of-house workers.<\/p>\n

The business\u2019 owner, Joy Wang, reportedly decided to invest $30,000 in the robots because the restaurant was struggling with staffing issues.<\/p>\n

According to the news<\/a> outlet, the robots are being used to greet customers, help them to their seats and will even run food out to tables. Human servers are still taking orders, although robots will reportedly also help sing \u201cHapp<\/a>y Birthday\u201d to customers in four different languages.<\/p>\n

While the robots are helping out with the servers, Fox 23 reports that they don\u2019t share in the tips. Apparently, the human workers keep those for themselves.<\/p>\n

This is just the latest story to surface of a restaurant having staffing issues.<\/p>\n

Fox News\u00a0previously reported<\/a>\u00a0that a Tiktok user named\u00a0Brittany Logan<\/a>\u00a0recently shared footage of a note she found at a McDonald\u2019s drive-thru. In the video\u2019s caption, Logan described the note as \u201csavage.\u201d<\/p>\n

As it appears in the video, the note says, \u201cWe are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did show up. No one wants to work anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

The message appears to be referencing issues that restaurants have been having with staffing. In the video\u2019s comments, several Tiktok users complained that due to fear of the pandemic and the expanded unemployment benefits, it\u2019s apparently been hard to get restaurants fully staffed.<\/p>\n

Several users who work in the food industry chimed in, with one reply saying, \u201cIt\u2019s sad because it\u2019s true. We\u2019ve been trying to hire people at our restaurant and no one wants to work.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
