Larsa Pippen took to Instagram to remember Antron Pippen, the late son of ex-husband and Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen.<\/p>\n

Scottie Pippen said Monday that Antron had died a week earlier at age 33. <\/p>\n

A cause of death was not given. <\/p>\n

\u201cSome truths in life are hard to accept,\u201d Larsa wrote Monday. \u201cYour memories will never be forgotten! They will always remain with us forever. You are forever in our hearts, we love u and will miss u always [pray hands emoji] Rip Antron.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former \u201cReal Housewives of Miami\u201d star, 46, also shared a photo of Antron with the sons she shared with Scottie: Scotty Jr., 20, Preston, 18, and Justin, 15. Scotty Jr. and Justin posted the same photo to their respective Instagram Stories paying tribute to their half-brother.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Larsa and Scottie, who also share a daughter, Sophia, 12, separated in 2015, when the 55-year-old Basketball Hall of Famer filed for divorce after accusing Larsa of having an affair. They briefly reconciled, but Larsa eventually\u00a0filed for divorce in 2018. The estranged couple\u2019s divorce has yet to be finalized.<\/p>\n

Scottie Pippen is also dad to daughters Taylor and Sierra, both 26, whom he shares with exes Sonya Roby and Yvette Deleone. Taylor had a twin named Tyler, who died in the hospital shortly after birth.<\/p>\n

Antron was the eldest of Scottie Pippen\u2019s eight children and the only child he had with ex Karen McCollum, whom he was married to from 1988-1990.<\/p>\n

In Scottie Pippen\u2019s posts about his son\u2019s passing, he said the two had a shared love for basketball. <\/p>\n

\u201cAntron suffered from chronic asthma and if he hadn\u2019t had it, I truly believe he would\u2019ve made it to the NBA. He never let that get him down, though \u2014 Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became,\u201d the Hall of Famer wrote in part. <\/p>\n

Antron, born on Dec. 29, 1987, played basketball for South Georgia Technical College and Texas A&M International University before he signed with the Upstate Heat of the World Basketball Association, according to\u00a0Marie Claire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More recently, Antron lived in Atlanta where he reportedly played basketball\u00a0for a local team and worked as a machine technician at a laboratory.\u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
