So, a host of one of the contest\u2019s entries takes his crew into a creepy old building\u2014reportedly a 15th century plague hospital\u2014with caverns under it. The supernatural forces inside are more authentic than at first supposed by the makers of the show.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>REVIEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cVIEWERS WILL CHOOSE THE FATE OF PARANORMAL SHOWS VYING TO BE DARK VISION CHAMPION. THE TEAM WITH THE MOST HITS WINS THEIR OWN <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SERIES<\/a>. FIVE TEAMS. ONE WINNER.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spencer Knights, played by this film\u2019s screenwriter, Bernie Hodges, has undaunted ambition. He wants to win the Dark Vision Hub\u2019s contest, the rules of which are described above. His team\u2019s entry is called \u201cMind-Full,\u201d and he has put together a crew of four other people whose enthusiasm doesn\u2019t exactly match his. They actually think he\u2019s kind of a corny guy\u2014given the exception, maybe, of the eighteen\u2014nineteen\u2014year-old cameraman, who is too young to know any better.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(1)\" height=\"221\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-1.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(3)\" height=\"218\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-3.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(2)\" height=\"214\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-2.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img><\/p>\n<p>Spencer is taking his crew to Baylock\u2019s Folly. Supposedly, Baylock\u2019s Folly was a hospital for victims of the Black Plague in the 1400\u2019s. Spencer has all kinds of ideas about it being ultra haunted \u2026which, naturally, it is. But he is hoping for a little on-screen sensationalism, nothing too scary, nothing too threatening.<br \/><\/br> The man is sorely out of luck:<\/p>\n<p>I thought you\u2019d want what I want. Sorry, my dear. But where are the ghosts? Send in the ghosts. Don\u2019t bother, they\u2019re heeeeeeere.<\/p>\n<p>And what is the deal with this Dark Vision Hub? Could it be that they are, duplicitous, plotting, and evil?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(5)\" height=\"213\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-5.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(4)\" height=\"217\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-4.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(6)\" height=\"216\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-6.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img><\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact, it turns out they are.<\/p>\n<p>DARK VISION is another one of those no budget movies that is cursed from the beginning. It\u2019s evident, there was not enough time and not enough money to render a good film. Maybe, with a few more <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> re-writes, a few different stabs at the editing, and\u2014yes\u2014more money\u2014for better cameras if nothing else\u2014this could have been good. But as it stands, its look is stilted and artificial: the movie unfolds with an overly digital look. I understand. Digital is, really, the only option for this fare. The acting is really bad, too. Once again, I get it. Not enough time to get that perfect take. This was cranked out as fast as possible. And there really aren\u2019t any characters to latch on to, so as to drive the narrative forward. Spencer Knights is irritating and cartoonish, and no one else is suitably fleshed out. So, not enough time for screenplay revision. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lots of low budget flicks have this problem.<\/p>\n<p>The storyline, also, feels forced and unfolds in, what feels like, a confused manner. It shouldn\u2019t be. At the core, this is a found footage ghost story. And DARK VISION\u2014the nefarious \u201ccompany\u201d staging the pilot contest? Is that really something people on the Internet are going to spend their time with? People are going to \u201cjudge\u201d raw footage? That\u2019s a big leap for credibility.<\/p>\n<p>Suspension of disbelief, I know.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-(8)\" height=\"637\"  src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Dark-Vision-2015-movie-Darren-Flaxstone-8.jpg\"  width=\"450\"><\/img><\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, DARK VISION feels like one giant constraint. In no way is it a satisfying watch. Baylock\u2019s Folly, itself, the building, is interesting to look out. It looks pretty cool inside. That\u2019s about it, though. That\u2019s about all DARK VISION has going for it.<\/p>\n<p>Who knows, maybe the movie could have been, under decidedly more favorable circumstances, a decent flick. As it stands, though, it\u2019s not.
